WHO WE ARE

Amateur Advocate Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization established for the purpose of helping those whose passion is to help others. Originally founded in 1983, AAA reorganized as an official 501 (c) (3) in 2004 with already more than two decades of experience establishing and running successful non-profit associations. Today, AAA strives to empower young people and help them reach their fullest potential by partnering with individuals and groups who seek to start community-based youth and family programs. We work with numerous established and newly formed organizations to provide young people with the opportunities they need to realize, maximize, and utilize their gifts and talents.

WHAT WE DO

Amateur Advocate helps strengthen communities by providing would-be founders of non-profit organizations and programs with the resources and expertise they need to establish programs that benefit youth, families, and neighborhoods. Affiliation with Amateur Advocate allows newly founded organizations to operate under the established banner of a 501 (c) (3) non-profit as quickly as possible. By partnering with AAA, founders greatly expedite and simplify the non-profit process, thereby relieving a lot of the administrative headaches and allowing them to focus more of their time and attention on the cause about which they are most passionate.

HOW WE DO IT

How does Amateur Advocate help those we partner with to empower and strengthen communities? We do it in several ways. For starters, our long history means that we have spent years establishing strong and trusting relationships with community leaders, school administrators, local organizations, members of the business community, college and community college administrators, and so on. Our established network of key relationships and resources means those who partner with AAA, enjoy the benefits of being affiliated with a well-established and trusted organization. In addition, because we are partnered with various organizations, we provide access to the avenues new non-profits often need in order to effectively raise funds, rally volunteers, or establish mutually-beneficial relationships with other associations.
