Mableton Day

A community celebration of the end of another successful school year, that features a 5k Race, Kids Fun Run, Arts & Crafts, Car Show, and a $1,500 giveaway to a deserving non-profit organization.

Mableton Rocks

A benefit concert of Rocking Roll tribute artists raising money for various charities in the surrounding community of Mableton and Austell, Georgia.

Taste of South Cobb

A community celebration of the many tastes and historic assets of the South Cobb area, featuring an historic tour, chili cook-off, first responder cooking contest and national entertainment.

MLK day is a community celebration of the civil right legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. featuring a volunteer project rally around the community, an expo of community service providers, local entertainment exhibits, as well as motivational speakers and oratory contest.

Fabulous Fridaze Concert

Fabulous Fridaze is an R&B and Contemporary Jazz concert series to raise resources for various causes and initiatives. Look out for national acts to come to the stage and chip-in on worth while causes. @ the Mableton House amphitheatre.

A community celebration to prepare families for the beginning of another successful school year that features an expo of community service providers, local schools PTA, family workshops, children physical exams, and school supply giveaways.

Betty Gray spent more than 50 years in education in Cobb County, and most of those years were spent in South Cobb schools as a teacher, principal, counselor and school board member. Four students from each of the four South Cobb high schools are selected for a $1,500 scholarship. Selected students qualified by having at least a 3.0 grade point average, strong community involvement and recommendations from school educators or officials.
